Respect and Equality Week at RMIT March 17 - March 21

For Students Only

Everyone at RMIT deserves to feel safe, included and valued – and it all starts with respect.

At RMIT, fostering a culture of respect is key to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive community.

Respect at Uni Week (17-21 March 2025) is a sector-wide initiative that provides an opportunity for students and staff to come together as a community, deepen their understanding, and take meaningful action to prevent gender-based harm while fostering a culture of respect and safety.

A range of events, activities, training modules, and awareness campaigns will take place throughout the week.

The week will include a launch of The Adventures of Soy Boy and Friends – a new comic co-designed by RMIT students and staff. This comic follows fictional characters Soy Boy, T-Bone, Avo and Pot Noodle as they navigate university life in the age of disinformation.
